SOBER EVENTS GUIDE DECEMBER

December 4, 2025

Vee Willard

Our monthly roundup of events in the city that are alcohol-free or where alcohol is present but easily ignored

Family is stressful. Family is exhausting. And the whole ordeal of seeing family for the holidays can make it VERY difficult not to drink. It is even trickier for queer people, who often have more complicated family situations than the average person. Our recommendation: Before you head out to see family for the holidays, CHARGE YOUR BATTERY with some sober queer events. Let your chosen family pump you up before your blood family does its thing. You got this.

Please note that this guide is put together to the best of the ability of our alcohol-free Events Editor Vee, who does her best, but may not always get it right. Please use your best judgement and if an event is making you feel uncomforted or tempted to break your sobriety goals, consider leaving, and if you want to, let us know.
