DRAG ME TO THE MOVIES presents GREMLINS 2: THE NEW BATCH

Series Descriptor: Drag Me to the Movies is a recurring screening series hosted by award-winning queer artist + curator Weird Alice. This series highlights films across multiple genres with a lens firmly focused on camp, queer stories, the tragically ludicrous and the ludicrously tragic. Each edition is paired with a different queer artist appearing live with pre-show performances and other out of the box interactive features to make cinema-going a unique and exciting experience.

Film Synopsis and Event Information: Young sweethearts Billy and Kate move to the Big Apple, land jobs in a high-tech office park and soon reunite with the friendly and lovable Gizmo. But a series of accidents creates a whole new generation of Gremlins. The situation worsens when the devilish green creatures invade a top-secret laboratory and develop genetically altered powers, making them even harder to destroy!

Featuring pre-show drag performances by series host Weird Alice and special guest Gay Jesus.
