You asked for it, and we created it! This month's spring-y roundup of events in the city that are alcohol-free or where alcohol is present but easily ignored
You voted and your friends and family voted (at your urging, perhaps), and another Federal election has come and gone. We’ve somehow managed to ward off fascism for another chunk of years. Yay democracy! So, let’s celebrate! But keep in mind that many of us are used to drinking when we celebrate, which may conflict with our sobriety goals, so (and this is fast becoming our mantra) celebrate YOUR OWN WAY with something queer from our list of sober queer events. And if you want to wear high leather boots while you do it, more power to you.
Please note that this guide is put together to the best of the ability of our alcohol-free Events Editor Vee, who does her best, but may not always get it right. Please use your best judgement and if an event is making you feel uncomforted or tempted to break your sobriety goals, consider leaving, and if you want to, let us know.
