SOBER EVENTS GUIDE SEPTEMBER

September 6, 2025

Vee Willard

You asked for it, and we created it! A monthly roundup of events in the city that are alcohol-free or where alcohol is present but easily ignored

Imagine, if you will, a month where you do all the things we recommend that you do—a flurry of queer activity, and nary a drop of alcohol in your system (or whatever your sobriety goals might be).  You could be rolling in the grass like a dog at Starry Night Picnic, learning about historical lesbians at a performance of The Elephant Girls, and beating the crap out of your friends at Straps Queer Arm Wrestling. AMONG OTHER THINGS. Check it out.

Please note that this guide is put together to the best of the ability of our alcohol-free Events Editor Vee, who does her best, but may not always get it right. Please use your best judgement and if an event is making you feel uncomforted or tempted to break your sobriety goals, consider leaving, and if you want to, let us know.
