The exhibition brings together portraits of LGBTQIA2S+ people from across Toronto, including several individuals who are recognizable within the city’s queer community. Through intimate portraiture, the work reflects on chosen family, queer joy, resilience, and the feeling of being seen by and within community.

Rather than approaching belonging through biological ties, In Community looks at the forms of care, authenticity, and shared lived experience that shape queer connection. Each portrait stands on its own while contributing to a larger constellation of lives, relationships, and community.
