Hello cuties! Happy belated Pride and Happy soon-to-be Bana weekend!
We missed you all during Pride season... but we've been working really hard behind the scenes taking some of your feedback and looking at new venues to expand your new fave queer fete!
Before di summah done, we had to throw one last fete fuh allyuh! We're back with a Queeribana edition!
Come close out Caribana long weekend with us on Sunday, August 2nd from 10 PM to 2 AM at Hail Mary on College!
We are celebrating our peoples and paying homage to the power of SOCA! Lots of soca alllll night - classic soca, bashment soca, Dennery Segment, Jab, Zess - alongside some of your other fave sounds from around the diaspora (chutney, bouyon, dancehall, reggae, kompa, zouk, etc...)
Come celebrate with your queer Caribbean kin, jump up with your chosen fam, and wine on ah cutie with a few of the best queer Caribbean DJs in the city supplying di vibes.
All batty gyals, bais, dey/dems, famalay and hawt babes gender non-specific or conforming welcome! Bring yuh flags & fans (cause it gets HOT) - rep your Caribbean nation, your sexuality, and your gender if you'd like. All of these flags are welcome in this space!

$15-25 per ticket sliding scale online through Eventbrite. Few tickets will be available at the door $20-25 sliding scale through Eventbrite or $25 cash - please try and buy in advance since space is limited, and ticket holders will be prioritized for entry before 12 AM. Entry is based on capacity after 12 AM for ticket holders and people buying tickets at the door. Event is 19+, IDs will be checked and bags will be checked at the door.
Every queer person is welcome in this space, and we ask that everyone stay mindful and respectful of this being a BIPOC and queer Caribbean centred event. This means QTBIPOC, and especially queer and trans Caribbean folks, to the front!
There will be pictures and videos taken at the event by the organizer and their official photographer, and the media taken by us can be used for future promo of Wine Dung events. Glow sticks will be available at check-in for those who prefer not to be in any media.
All funds made from this event will firstly go towards paying venue fees, DJs, photographer, door workers, and organizer for their time & craft, and secondly towards sustaining future Wine Dung events. All involved outside of the venue are QTBIPOC, so please pay what you can! As we move to bigger venues, we have more expenses - we always strive to keep tickets as accessible as possible. Thank you for your support, our events don't happen without it!
