West End Gays DJs

With guest gogo performers

Montreal’s music savants HOMOPOP are making their way to Toronto November 28th for the second edition of WEST END GAYS, a mighty real and proudly queer house and disco soirée inspired by the gay liberation movement.

The duo will take you on a sophisticated voyage through the golden age of disco, 80’s Hi-Nrg and Italo, 2000’s electro and Chicago house. If you love Sylvester, Patrick Cowley, Donna Summer, the Pet Shop Boys, Hercules and Love Affair and Cerrone, you’ll love to let loose on the dancefloor at WEST END GAYS, where the DJs mix queer classics with exciting new releases.

WEST END GAYS is for all the queers and our allies: hairy daddies, nerdy otters, trans siblings, gym bunnies, sapphic icons, fashion femmes and leather hunks are all welcome to feel the love. And less (clothing) is more: let our guest gogo performers turn up the heat and inspire you to check your inhibitions at the door for WEST END GAYS!

**No refunds unless the date of the event is changed or cancelled**

ABOUT WEST END GAYS

Launched by Homopop at the Riverside in Montreal’s St. Henri neigborhood in 2022, West End Gays quickly carved out a place for itself in queer nightlife by presenting nine sold-out editions. The resident DJs bring together gay classics, new wave/italo gems and exciting new releases inspired by the queer liberation movement. Their Fierté Montréal event Pleasuredome (inside an actual dome outfitted with projections!) has become a staple of Pride season in the city, with 3 sold-out editions featuring DJs Tommy Hart, Karim Olen Ash, Dropo and Balls Deep Disco.
