Trans Youth Clothing Swap and DIY Workshop

The 519's Trans Youth Mentorship Program invites 2-Spirit, Trans and Non-Binary youth in Toronto for an exciting and fun time at The 519 Community Centre for a trans clothing swap!

Participants can bring up to 10 items of clothing or accessories to swap with other participants. Items need to be clean and in good condition, otherwise won't be accepted. When bringing clothes, think of items that you would be happy to give away to a friend.

Come meet other trans, non-binary and 2-Spirit young people, make new friends, update your wardrobe and find out more about the Trans Youth Mentorship Program.

We will also have a DIY table, in which participants can customize and upcycle items of clothing that they get or bring from home. We will also have a button maker so participants can make their own buttons.

🍪 Food and drinks will be provided, as well as TTC Tokens

👕 Depending on clothing availability, there might be a limit of items to take per participant

⚧️ Please note that this event is exclusive to 2-spirit, trans and non-binary youth. Allies are kindly asked to respect the closed nature of the group.

This event is fully free of cost.
