Guess who’s baaaack?

Toronto Leatherqueer Picnic
Saturday April 18, 2-5pm.
*If it’s raining, we’ll reschedule for the following Saturday, April 25.

This is a space for leatherqueers of marginalized genders to connect, make friends, and cruise. Flagging is encouraged! We will have optional name tags and icebreaker prompts to help folks mingle comfortably.

We’ll gather in the southwest corner of the park, near Banjara. Look for the Leather Pride flag to find us! This spot in the park is mixed sun and shade and has flat, uneven grassy ground. If you like, bring yourself a camp chair, picnic blanket, pillow, snacks, whatever you’d like to have to enjoy a nice afternoon in the park. Let’s be comfortable!

A note on C0v1D: the limited data we have makes it difficult to assess the severity of this ongoing pandemic. Let’s practice caring safety protocols and give each other ample space. Bring a mask in case you want to get closer to skill-share or cruise etc. *If someone is wearing a mask, wear one to approach them.*
If you have any symptoms of illness or known/suspected recent exposures, please don’t come. Let’s make sure we have a healthy tomorrow to meet again in the future.

Christie Pits is at 750 Bloor St W in Toronto. It is accessible by car with street and lot parking nearby, by subway via Line 2 at Christie station and by bus via route 126. There are two, gendered, wheelchair-accessible washrooms at the bottom of a steep hill with a paved path.

Your organizers are @hollys_horny_home @pansybutch & @thekikikennedy.
Inspired by similar gatherings across turtle island, with acknowledgement & appreciation to @mother.archetype & @_wolfsmilk._ ., @monster_femme, @sharonpinkishere, @daemonumx, @chicagoleatherdykepicnic, and many others.
