a relocation project on behalf of US-based trans people, for reasons we hardly need to explain

STRAPS #9 is another Trans-only* competitor event**. But anyone can watch! Bring your friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, joyfriends, queer platonic relationship, polycule and primary fluid-sharing partners to support! It’s Pride, so you can even bring your nice cis ally mom/dad!

This time we will be graced with the presence of professional wrestling commentator and wonderfully talented drag performer @calypsocosmic 💅🏿💁🏾‍♀️

CATEGORIES are NOODLE (not very strong) MID (quite strong) MUSCLE MARY (very strong). YOU pick the one you belong too!

There will be raffle prizes and consolation prizes and a very DIY wrestling belt and goodie bag for the winners!

CONVENIENTLY our punk venue @houndstooth immediately next door to a old man Portugese sports bar with a big outdoor screen so you can peek at the footy in between STRAPS matches. I dunno if there's a match that evening I haven't checked yet ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Please note that Houndstooth is a public bar where anyone can come by so we cannot be assessing people's queer credentials at the door. If you are getting any trouble from anyone please let us know.

ACCESSIBILITY: There is a wheelchair ramp to enter the space upon request. Washrooms are down a set of stairs. The A&W at a few doors West on the corner of College and Ossington has wheelchair accessible washrooms on the ground floor
