ShikShook - Queer Arab/SWANA Party

Get ready for two incredible DJs — @djra2asny spinning the hottest Arabic Pop, old and new, alongside a special DJ mix of Amapiano/Techno Arabic with DJ @sandwavv. Plus a mesmerizing belly dancing drag performance by the one and only @theone.samara. Oh and a few surprises!

ShikShook is a safe and inclusive party series where 2SLGBTQ+ community members can express themselves, connect and uplift one another. ShikShook provides a rare opportunity to revel in nostalgic Arabic tunes, welcoming everyone to dress as they please and celebrate their authentic selves.

We are committed to contributing a portion of each event’s proceeds to urgent and essential causes. This June event donation will support a family in Gaza seeking funds to relocate to a safer environment.
