Wow it feels like an eternity since the last Shango. After a long and hot summer we get to dance together again and welcome in the autumn equinox with DJs Tammy Lakkis (Detroit) Kiki LeFreak and Jodie D

Tammy Lakkis :A rising voice in Detroit electronic music, Tammy is a multidisciplinarian known for her playful hardware live performances and eclectic DJ sets. Her EP Notice on Hamtramck label Portage Garage Sounds propelled her as a unique singer and producer blending the strange, the dark, and the fun.

Tammy Lakkis fearlessly navigates through extremes, genres, temperatures in her dynamic DJ sets. A masterful storyteller, she oscillates between downtempo oddities, flirty vocal house, and ferocious bassline-driven bangers, occasionally winking at her ancestral Arabic percussion and melody. A true mystery bag. Just how we like at Shango mystery is magical!
