Celebrate the season with Book People bookshop at Season’s Readings! An sip, snack, & shop evening in collaboration with QBC TO. Enjoy an evening of books, community, and cozy cheer as we gather for festive drinks, good company, and plenty of bookish gift inspiration.

About Book People: Opened in spring 2025, Book People is owned and operated by finance-worker turned bookseller Kai Yu. With a carefully curated selection, Yu welcomes in the community members of Parkdale to find the perfect read.

About Queer Book Club TO: Established in 2020, QBCTO is an active book club that meets monthly to discuss books of all genres. New members are added every year. From time-to-time, founder Kate & awesome member volunteers enjoy organizing bookish events for the bookish community at large, with the aim of fostering community & spreading love for books. LGBTQIA+ folks & allies alike are welcome to all our events!
