📖when you arrive with your wrapped book, you’ll be given a label and asked to write a description of the book’s themes without spoiling the title. Then, the books will be placed on a shelf and readers will have the chance to peruse the selection.
For the first hour, guests will settle in, order iced tea, cocktails, or food, and talk about queer literature using curated conversation prompts. We also invite you to decorate and design your own bookmarks. As the event progresses, we’ll announce the winners of bookish giveaways from vendors like @anotherstorybookshop !!! Around 8:30, the book exchange will take place :)
