Roasted Chestnuts IX

Roasted Chestnuts IX, an annual gathering of music and storytelling hosted by the Queer Songbook Orchestra, is a holiday fundraiser with a focus on chosen family and queer joy.

With several special guests from our 2SLGBTQ+ Toronto community joining us on stage, we offer an evening to come together and reflect on the holidays through the lens of queer experience. Expect laughter, tears and intergenerational connection in an evening that has been dubbed by past attendees as "Our Christmas".

This event is supported by the Queer and Trans Research Lab at the Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies, University of Toronto.
