Art Show Near Me returns for round 2 of their Thursday night Standard Time residency on November 13th bringing a host of local favourites. ASNM resident Maxedvisa will be sharing dancefloor control duties with Ester Shiner, Halpo, and Juicy. Rumour has it that this is Max's last set for a while... Don't miss it!

Ester Shiner is the moniker of Toronto based artist, DJ and organizer Steven Tseng. Formerly the bassist of the math-emo outfit Pfloog, ST has spent the last few years honing in on the intersectionality of idm, techno, and bass centric music to elicit dance floor euphoria.

Defying the pull of linear time, Juicy builds kinetic, soaring and playful soundscapes that blend chaos with control. Each set is another study in texture, malleability, and release, pushing and pulling sound through loops, folds, and twists.

Max (Halpo) learned to use the cue button with Destiny's help at the Holy Oak and still can't give it up. After a youth spent thrashing in the pit, he's spent the last decade-plus scouring used record bins and Bandcamp in search of the next fun blend. He organizes events with the Best in Town Sound crew and helps to curate BOOT. Come hear his last set for awhile starting things off at 9pm.

Maxedvisa; a co-organizer of ArtShowNearMe, curates the delicate balance between nature and sound. Their sets reflect their love of daydreaming and dubby textures, shaped by the energy for sound systems that hum with intention. Moving through the in between, they blend lush field recordings with deep rhythms, percussive grooves, and left-field selections that catch you off balance. Rooted in sound that breathes; Maxedvisa brings an organic approach to the dancefloor; inviting movement, introspection, and a place to feel connected.
