Read the Room

Read the Room (RTR) is a new Toronto based inclusive BIPOC queer dance party that embraces and encourages everyone in our community to be who they are on the dance floor. Even though there are gay or lesbian-specific events that already exist, we found the majority of queer people would like spaces and events that better represent the growing mosaic of the 2SLGBTQIA+ population. RTR’s focus is creating safe spaces at recognized nightlife establishments for queer folx who want a place to meet for a fun night out. We gather queer performers and DJs to bring even more excitement and celebrate who we are.

Remember, reading is what? Fundamental!
