What is ‘speed dannecting’?
Some people want to meet people with the possibility (but not pressure) of dating. Some people want to meet people with the possibility of (but not pressure) of connections. So dating+connecting=dannecting. ‘Dannecting’ is a fast way to meet new people -> lots of possibilities but no pressure!

How does it work?
You will have short, focused conversations with 12 people in 75 minutes. You will have 6 minutes (3 minutes each) to ask each other questions that we have provided for you - a mix of light and more meaningful questions. You don’t need to plan any questions - we got that covered! Also, questions usually won’t repeat, so your quick chats will stay fresh and interesting.

At the end of the first 75 minutes, there will be 45 minutes of casual time for you to hang out and have talks organically with some of the people you just met. We will have a few things out of the tables (cards, colouring books, puzzles) if you want to do something together.

How will you be matched up?
We are expecting 60-70 people at this event. This is our second time trying it, so it will be an ‘everyone’ edition. Before the event, you will be sent an optional questionnaire to complete. We will use that to try and make sure that at least half of your speed chats are with people who you have a higher likelihood of having a match with.
This is an 18+ event and there is some grouping by age range.

This costs $9 to attend.
There are also fifteen $20 spots if you wanna show Glad Day a little extra love!

9:10pm - Casual hanging out
9:45pm - End

The entrance, washrooms and space are wheelchair accessible.
Please do not wear perfume or cologne to this event.

The space does not have a liquor license, but sober drinks and snacks will be available at Glad Day.
