Taking place in the Toronto queer nightlife scene, we follow Egyptian immigrant Nabil (Ryan Ali) and trans drag mother Malibu (Alexandra Billings), as they find solace in each other’s friendship. As Malibu teaches Nabil about drag and Malibu struggles to save their queer bar, they realise that their efforts to cling to the past are holding them back from manifesting the legacy their loved ones would have wanted for them.
