Queen Out Comedy - A Fem & Queer Open Mic!

A night of inclusive and vibie open mic comedy for the girls, gays, and theys!

Looking for stage time to try out your silly lil jokes? Want to hang with other fem and / or queer comedians? Just want to cure your Sunday scaries with some comedy?

WELL you are in luck! Join us for the first edition of Queen Out Open Mic Comedy! <33

The list goes out at 6 pm, with sign up on a first come, first serve basis. The show starts promptly at 6 30 pm, and will run to approximately 8 30 pm (depending on the number of sign ups).

This mic is open to anyone that identifies as a woman, fem, and / or member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Sorry cis het dude comics - this one's not for you.

You are welcome to perform, attend as an audience member to support fem and queer comedy, or both!!

The fine print:

   5 minute sets, "warning light" at 4 minutes
   Free to attend with no purchase required, BUT please support the amazing venue if you can. There are a range of nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages for purhcase as well as food
   The venue is fully accessible for mobility aid users including communal and single stall gender neutral washrooms at-grade
   All ages welcome but parental / guardian company is recommended for younger performers
   All are welcome to watch / support this event, including cisgender heterosexual men, but performance spaces are open only to fem and / or queer folx
   Community guidelines are in place for this show and will be discussed at the top. This includes no "punching down", no "isms" or phobias, and no aggressive crowd work. This mic is hosted and produced by a queer, nonbinary comedian who takes this seriously AF, and who is committed to keeping the vibes cute and inclusive. If content of a performance isn't aligned with the guidelines, the set will be ended early.
   We all want a sexy, healthy time! You are totally welcome to wear a mask. If you are feeling sick, please stay home!
