PUCKER UP! returns with its annual Pride month blowout — a night of deep bass, sultry rhythm, and euphoric queer energy, where the dancefloor becomes pure fantasy. ♡
We’re beyond thrilled to host the Toronto debut of BEIGE, the i.c.o.n.i.c. Detroit-based artist known for their vinyl-mixing prowess and genre-defying, emotive selections that have solidified their status as your favourite DJ’s favourite DJ.
Joining BEIGE is a stacked lineup of two tastemakers in Toronto’s queer nightlife scene, plus a rising star from Montreal who’s making waves with her eclectic selections — all curated with love.
Expect an unforgettable celebration of queer sound, community, and collective release. Welcome to the PUCKER UP! sound dome — come sweat it out and share a kiss ~ xx
BEIGE (they/them)
BEIGE is a Detroit-based DJ known for their genre-defying, emotionally rich sets that blend murky house, indie dance, funk, pop, and everything in between. Their 2022 Honcho Campout performance exemplified their knack for subverting the familiar—transforming well-known artists like Dolly Parton and Frank Ocean into dancefloor surprises. A vinyl-trained selector with a taste for both smooth transitions and bold juxtapositions, BEIGE rejects gimmicks and self-promotion in favor of deeply considered, high-quality performances. Since their debut in 2017, they’ve earned a reputation for versatility and taste, becoming a favorite in clubs from Detroit to New York, where they hold a residency at The Lot Radio.
With support from respected peers like Eris Drew and Octo Octa, they released the celebrated AMEN! Volume 1 mixtape in 2022 and have since performed at iconic venues and festivals worldwide, including Panorama Bar, Movement Festival, and Honcho. Driven by a desire to create euphoric, communal dancefloor experiences, BEIGE balances technical prowess with playful experimentation, proving that dance music can be both joyful and transcendent.
Kuscheln (he/him)
Kuscheln is a Toronto based DJ/producer. His eclectic sets weave together UK bass, early 2000s prog, breakbeat, and tech-house with sharp-edged precision and a resonant emotional core. In both his DJing and production, Kuscheln aims to challenge the common techno/house binary approach to gay nightlife. In addition to gigs across North America and Europe, he currently runs two queer parties in Toronto, Madre and Klub Ferret, and has released music with kaptcha, Ketia’s Lisbon-based collective.
CHINELO (they/he/she)
Zimbabwean-born, Hamilton-raised, and Toronto-made, CHINELO is a bold multidisciplinary artist carving a distinctive path in the city’s underground scene with a fearless approach that stands out amid fierce competition. Their evolving sonic palette blends synths, gqom, jazz, soul, percussive basslines, UK techno, and futuristic grooves infused with dancehall and world club music influences, creating fresh and immersive experiences that keep Toronto’s club culture vibrant. In 2024, CHINELO shared stages with prominent figures from Toronto, NYC, and London’s electronic scenes—including Bambii, Nino Brown, Venus X, and Kode9—cementing their reputation as a dynamic and innovative force in the global club community.
Lather Rinse Repeat (she/her)
Enter the waters of Lather Rinse Repeat and you’ll be swimming in a stream-of-consciousness that weaves through nostalgic classics, whacky curveballs, and cutting-edge tracks. Fascinated by sonic relationships between cultures and eras, she’s eager to bring what she’s learned to the dancefloor. Dive into the depths—experience for yourself what LRR does best: retrofuturism and introspection with a touch of absurdity.
