PUCKER UP! is back with a triple threat lineup that will no doubt blow your mind and deliciously wobble Standard Time’s subs. Starring Brooklyn’s DJ Voices, known for deepening the dance floor experience; Montreal’s Kiju, a celebrated organizer and hypnotic selector; and Toronto’s own dj miss, purveyor of eclectic sounds, these three artists are some of dance music’s most inventive and adventurous talents.

Sonic storytelling, lush visuals, and a queer, euphoric dance floor are sure to make this a night that words won’t do justice — you’ll just have to be there.

DJ VOICES (NYC)
Expect to hear everything present in the consciousness of DJ Voices during one of her performances. For the past decade, the Brooklyn-based DJ has been cutting a deeper path through the party, as a committed distributor of new sound and undefined genres. In a time of homogenized cultural zones and drip-fed algorithmic taste, her sets—free-range, roving, and ecstatic—are free of the usual moderating impulses. Currently a resident at The Lot Radio and formerly a resident at Nowadays, where she also worked as a booker for 7 years, her presence in the Brooklyn electronic community has expanded its contours towards curiosity, exploration, and pleasure.

KIJU (MTL)
Through her tireless involvement in the DIY circuit, Kiju has established herself as a mainstay in her local scene as a DJ, organizer, and dancefloor specialist. Behind the decks, she has been noticed for her genre-spanning range and sensitive selections that constantly move in and out of a groove, revealing new and unimagined ways of returning to the body. As a core organizer of the notable Layer 05 outdoor summer rave series and a regular name on bills across various local venues, Kiju lures dancers into a trance and flirts in the liminal zone between everything heady and groovy; strange and familiar.

DJ MISS (TOR)
dj miss is interested in getting serious with the dancers. Behind the decks, miss’ musical selections are wide-ranging. She loves cutie house grooves, wriggling prog, pinballing bass mutations, percussive club tracks, and emotional oddities. miss also runs the monthly Seesaw mix series, started in 2024, which features up-and-coming local guests playing an eclectic range of sounds.
