Prisoners' Justice Day

Join us for Prisoner Justice Day on August 10th to honour those who have died in custody. This year’s event will take place at Barbara Hall Park (519 Church St, Toronto) at 12 p.m. The AIDS Committee of Toronto will be tabling alongside other local organizations. The day will feature an Elder, Indigenous drummers and dancers, and speakers who have been incarcerated or have lost loved ones inside. We will close the event with a candlelight vigil, reading the names of those who have passed away in custody. Let’s stand together for justice and remembrance. #PrisonerJusticeDay #NoJusticeNoPeace
