Join the Kimpton Saint George and Queer Book Club TO for an evening filled with food, sips c/o @threedogwinery, and captivating queer literature by @o.janika who will be reading from her acclaimed debut novel A History of Burning, as well as writer/audio journalist @rachelmatlow who will be sharing excerpts from their darkly humorous memoir, Dead Mom Walking. Don’t miss the opportunity to have your books signed, too!
Purchasing tickets to the event includes food and drink, sponsored by the Kimpton Saint George and Three Dog Winery, with a raffle to win 2 VIP Pride Weekend tickets, sponsored by Pride Toronto. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in open discussions about writing and identity in a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment.
Ticket proceeds will benefit Queer Book Club Toronto, as well as Friends of Ruby, who support two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual and all gender non-conforming youth (aged 16-29) by providing free counselling, housing and social services.
