Save the date for Saturday, October 3 - we’re celebrating creativity from dusk til dawn! As part of Nuit Blanche, The 519 will be exhibiting “Prismatic Futurity”. This special installation will be revealed on the street outside The 519 at 7 p.m.
“Prismatic Futurity” invites audiences to imagine queer futurity with The 519 at the centre of Toronto’s Church-Wellesley Village. Anchored to the facade between the heritage building and the modern addition, the installation unfolds as a field of iridescent triangular pyramids that bridge the past, present, and future. This installation was designed by artist Simon Liao (@queer.arrival), with support from 50th Anniversary Sponsor and Art Installation Partner TD.
From 7 p.m. to midnight, join us on the street in front of The 519 for snacks and hot drinks. Nuit Blanche programming will be happening across the city from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m.
We also invite you to an exciting night of dance in our ballroom - tickets will be on sale soon!
