Kim Ann Foxman and Gee Dee return to Standard Time alongside Pucker Up! residents DJs Kai and Critter!

Hawaii-born, San Francisco-seasoned, and NYC-based musician Kim Ann Foxman has always been a capital-R Raver. The label owner, singer, and queer-musical-icon got her start as a high schooler blending fruit smoothies at an all-ages club while acts like Deee-Lite performed on the stage behind her. In 1995, when Kim moved from the island of Oahu to San Francisco, she spent her weekends chasing down map points to dance under the stars and warehouses of Funky Tekno Tribe and Bassex parties. The look and sound of raving have transformed many times over in the three decades since, but so too has Kim evolved; as a solo artist releasing records via her Firehouse & self:timer labels or as a vocalist for her club hits (“Creature”) and as a singer on the first two Hercules & Love Affair LPs.

Her latest solo release “We Are Rhythm” featuring remix by Spray, has been an absolute club hit. Regardless of the space and time, whether she is performing at nightclubs around the globe (Berghain to Bassiani), or festivals (Honcho to Pitch Arts), rest assured that one of Kim’s time-tested rave anthems will be in her DJ-bag. Rinsing a 30-year-old anthem is one of the many ways KAF has alchemized and honored that hard-to-describe feeling of the records she produces and plays, the groovy timeless sound of the rave. A sound that has captured the hearts of artists like Robyn, Erasure, and the XX or fashion brands like Gucci and Alexander McQueen. Her latest project, “Pleasure Planet” finds her in band mode again, releasing their self-titled LP, an immersive and experimental sonic journey, and celebration of electronic innovation.

Pleasure Planet continues Kim’s careerlong foray into capturing the psychedelic, communal, and intentional feeling of her roots as a P.L.U.R.ist. Kim’s commitment to craft, subtlety, and good vibes has rewarded her with a fanbase that feels more like a crew. Together they hold the giant folding map navigating to where this trippy music will take them next.

Gee Dee is a Brooklyn-based DJ and producer rooted firmly in North America’s club scene. With longstanding residencies at New York institutions Good Room and Public Records, and as a 10-year veteran of Philadelphia’s iconic party Making Time, Gee Dee has been commanding dance floors for over a decade.

Since his debut 12” EP in 2020, Gee Dee has delivered standout records on Superior Elevation, Planet Trip, and most recently, Klasse Wrecks. He has contributed tracks to compilations on Dream Chimney and Terra Magica, and turned in a remix for Rhode & Brown on Permanent Vacation — a track that was recently supported by Matisa on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio.

In 2025, Gee Dee launched his own imprint, Free Universe, with debut collaborations alongside household names Kim Ann Foxman and Roman Flügel.

An optimistic sense of freedom and a contagious lack of inhibition shine brightly throughout his work. A true purveyor of the “anything goes” ethos, Gee Dee seamlessly traverses decades, genres, tempos, and moods in both his DJ sets and productions — taking listeners on a sonic journey that’s equal parts euphoric, hypnotic, and psychedelic. His sound reflects the past while pushing fearlessly toward the future… always guaranteed to make you sweat.

Gee Dee has performed at leading festivals such as Dekmantel, Making Time, and Love International, and graced club institutions like Basement, Flash, 1015 Folsom, Floyd, Nitsa, Zukunft, Platforma Wolff, and The Observatory. Whether in the U.S. or abroad, his sets leave a lasting impression.

Outside of his solo work, he is one half of Infinity Machine — a live ambient act with Juan Maclean. Together, they’ve released three album-length cassettes on DFA Records, with a full-length double LP slated for 2026.

A consistent contributor to the online mix sphere, Gee Dee’s encyclopedic musical knowledge comes to life in guest radio spots for Peggy Gou’s Gudu Mix Series, HÖR Radio, Heels & Souls on Worldwide FM, Bar Part Time, Friendly Potential, Tuff Shed on NTS Radio, and many more.

And Pucker Up! residents DJs Kai and Critter will be joining us to kick things off!

Kai blends a variety of sounds and genres that gets the dance floor abuzz with raw energy. His sets weave slippery basslines, broken drums, glitchy percussion, and left-field selections. Kai is co-founder of local queer party series PUCKER UP!

Critter is a DJ, organizer, and bass freak from Halifax, Nova Scotia. As a DJ, her sets are rooted in contrast, pairing whopping basslines and guttural wubs with tender melodies and ear-tickling textures. As an organizer, she’s a co-founder and resident of PUCKER UP!, a celebrated Toronto-based collective that’s been throwing vibrant queer parties since 2023.
