A late winter pick me up from (JEEP MIX)!

This time with a very special guest who is not in this part of the world as often as he was in years past... ALTON MILLER!!!

The incomparable JASON PALMA will be warming up the room with a RARE DEEP HOUSE/TECHNO SET.  Jason hardly gets to play this style of music, yet he is so knowledgable with it.  He will be digging deep in his crates to showcase another side of him.  You do not want to miss this.

rounding out the evening, HAF S (JEEP MIX) will be playing his signature sound gliding between deep house and techno.

This one will be special one for the first (JEEP MIX) event at Rhythm Space!

Detroit-based producer, singer, and percussionist ALTON MILLER has been playing a fundamental
role in defining House Music for over three decades.
Born in Chicago and raised in Detroit on Stevie Wonder, Santana, Parliament Funkadelic
and the Philly Sound, Alton Miller’s early roots in soul music led to an affinity for clubbing
and the perfect storm of music, dance, and skill that is required to create it. Alton began
developing his deejaying skills under the electrifying energy of House Music founding
fathers like Larry Levan and Timmy Regisford, whereas he was often going to Ron
Hardy’s Music Box and Frankie Knuckles’s private loft parties in Chicago. Drawing on
Detroit’s rich dance club’s heritage, with seminal places like Club Heaven and L’Uomo,
Miller opened the legendary club The Music Institute, in 1988, along with his like-minded
friends Chez Damier and George Baker.
Alton Miller has lived in France,Belgium and South Africa, where he continues to pursue
his musical creation process. His travels have allowed him to discover other cultures and
make a name for himself all around the globe. He has played on every continent and toured
several countries including Japan, Vietnam, Tunisia, Europe, Australia, and New
Zealand as well as prominent festivals like Movement,Lovefest, House in the Park and
AfroPunk. He has released music on some of the best independent labels in the industry
such as Detroit renowned Planet E and Mahogani Music and Europeans Defected and
Neroli Records. Prolific producer, Alton Miller continues to further his musical endeavors
with releases on labels, including his own InnerMuse Recordings and Music Institute Records.
Since 2011, Miller has been cultivating his connection with South Africa’s thriving house
music scene. In 2019 he created the Alton Miller Foundation which creates platforms for
youth in South Africa to develop life skills and is frequently asked to speak at workshops
and symposiums about his experiences and contributions to Electronic music and House
music. !
His next album, the highly anticipated “ Abstract Prelude” , is scheduled for release fall of
2025 on Yoruba Soul records.

JASON PALMA
A well known figure in the Toronto scene, Jason Palma brings over 30 years of experience deejaying a wide variety of music from latin, soul, house, funk and hip hop to brasilian samba, disco & afrobeat. Jason's skill at mixing records that would appear to be ‘unmixable’ has placed him in constant demand over the course of his career, while also making him one of the most beloved DJs in Toronto!  His Higher Ground Radio show has been on the airwaves for over 25 years on Toronto’s CIUT-FM.  Jason was also co-owner and head record buyer at Toronto’s legendary record shop Play De Record for over two decades.

HAF S (JEEP MIX) AKA HXF is a Toronto-based artist, DJ, producer, and cultural connector with over 25 years in the dance music scene. Synth-driven, burger-powered, and 99% Halal, HAF is a vibe cultivator supreme — blending syncopated rhythms, lush textures, and deep grooves into sets that move with intention. His sound is organic and emotional, balancing high energy with introspection, always reading the room and riding the moment.

Rooted in the foundations of house, techno, and everything in between, HAF’s work is all about bridging gaps — between genres, communities, generations, and dance floors. Collaboration is at the heart of everything he does. Whether it's linking with DJs and dancers, connecting producers and promoters, or building trust with venues, he brings people together to create something that lasts.

His creative world expands through (JEEP MIX)— a multifaceted platform that started as a long-running monthly radio show and evolved into a banner for events, DJ sets, production credits, and soon, a record label. (JEEP MIX) is more than a name — it’s a style, a design, a way of moving through the city. It represents the same values that drive HAF: community, quality, and pushing Toronto’s underground forward.

As a producer, HAF has released a range of original music and beat tapes — including an EP included on RE:THINK’S ANALOGUE STORIES series— gaining international attention while staying true to the sound and spirit of his hometown. His events are known for their focus and feel, built to uplift local talent and give real heads a space to connect.

Whether behind the decks, curating lineups, or holding down the airwaves, HAF is committed to documenting, building, and celebrating the sound of Toronto — from the basement to the booth, from the past to the future.
