IOU presents: HOTPRETTY (Chicago) + OMG.BLOG + Rabzi

IOU is proud to welcome HOTPRETTY to Bambi’s for their Toronto debut.

The Chicago-based duo craft a sound that blurs the lines between house, trance, techno, and acid, all filtered through their signature trippy, progressive lens. United by a common love for cosmic and proggy aesthetics they subtly mix their various influences, navigating between house, trance, techno, and acid bringing their signature sounds across every inch of the American underground scene.

They already have a glowing discography with releases out so far on LaLa’s Sound As, a single of Demi Riquisimo’s label Semi Delicious, Ritmo Fatale as well as Neptune Discs + loads more in the pipeline for this year.

The duo have injected their sound into their hometown of Chicago with a series of parties that, last year, featured acts like Spray, Luke Alessi, and Matisa—laying the groundwork for more to come. Beyond their own events, they’ve made their mark at events such as He.She.They, ARC Music Festival, and Area 909 Festival.

Joining them on the bill is Toronto’s very own DJ OMG.BLOG and Rabzi.

DJ OMG.BLOG explores the interplay between horny and esoteric with their musical selections, searching for sublimity in stupidity to light a queer fire in the heart of the crowd.

IOU boss Rabzi, known for her breakneck style, fuses bouncy prog, sparkling trance, and ferocious breaks to keeps crowds on their toes all night long.
