Housing Rights and Tenant Organizing

Join The 519 for monthly discussions on housing rights, basics of tenant organizing, direct actions and community building. Note, these sessions are for tenants only, not landlords.

This month, we’ll meet on Wednesday, November 26, 6 to 8 p.m. to discuss deputations. A deputation is a formal presentation made by tenants to a municipal government council, board of directors, or committee, bringing forward complaints, solutions, information, and advocacy.
