Binj is a celebration of all things that Ginger Binj loves. Camp, sensuality, spook, gender-bending, with "classic" musical hits to keep the dance floor grooving. What does Ginger consider "classic"? Songs from the mid 2000s that you just can't help but dance and sing along too. Think Panic at the Disco, Kelly Clarkson, The Veronicas, Paramore, Kylie Minogue, Fall Out Boy, etc.
Guests are encouraged to get dressed up or dressed down into something they feel fabulous in. Do you have that one outfit in your closet that you just don't know where the heck you would wear it? Binj is probably the place. There will be a lewk contest with prizes for sexiest and silliest. Nominees will be chosen by the featured performers and winner will be chosen by crowd cheering.
The evening will be split up with spotlight performances by local drag, burlesque and stripper acts from Toronto.
All people are welcome to attend Binj, but first and foremost this is an event for queer people and their allies.
