Femmemoir: A zine-making workshop

Led by the curators of the On Our Own Terms exhibition, this workshop offers the chance to explore zine-making as a medium for memoir and queer history. Zine-making experienced a renaissance in the 90s – the last analogue decade – and was strongly linked to DIY feminist and queer activism, including the queercore and riot grrrl movements. Come and learn more about the history of queer zines and create your own “femmemoir” – a mini personal and cultural archive. All materials will be provided.
