Kick off pride month with a night of queer music! Join us for a night of sapphic songs and stories. Two of your favorite singer-songwriters (along with special guests) take the stage at Kensington Market’s Tapestry on June 2. Elina and Maiasha invite you to come dance and vibe for a night of good music and community.
Maiasha (she/her): is a queer folk singer-songwriter originally from Minneapolis who now calls Toronto home. She is deeply connected to her queerness, drawing inspiration from her own life in her lyrics and infusing haunting imagery into her unique musical blend of folk, pop, and indie rock.
Elina Filice (she/her): is a singer, songwriter, and storyteller known for songs that defy genre and interactive live performances. Her music is soulful and melodic while being influenced by blues and spoken word. Now based in Toronto, Elina has entertained audiences across three continents. She regards music as a powerful tool for the queer community. She will be launching her latest single "Bury Me" at the show!
