DRINK OUT! A Queer Aperitivo

Drink Out is a celebration of queerness and our mission to bring more joy, equity, and community-building to the world of food and wine. Eat Out Supperclub and SippinGrapeJuice are bringing you a gay ol’ time with an aperitivo-style evening in support of Vinequity, an organization that works to create equitable opportunities for Canadian BIPOC professionals in our industry. So come out and come OUT to eat queer food, drink queer wine, and spend humpday supporting friends and community members in the name of making our industry feel more inclusive for us all.

When: Wednesday October 15th, 6.30 – 9(ish)

What: Snacks by @eat.out.supperclub and wines from queer and BIPOC winemakers around the world, curated by @sippingrapejuice. 20% of the total wine sales will be donated to @vin.equity supporting them in advocating for more inclusion in the hospitality and wine industry.

Who: This is an event open to all and allies are welcome! Come alone or come with friends, but please leave racism, homophobia, xenophobia, sexism etc etc at home. We are first and foremost committed to creating a safe and fun space for queer and BIPOC folk.

Where: Grapewitches' back patio (Dundas location) - the patio is fully covered so this event will happen rain or shine!

The ticket includes unlimited buffet-style food, and a welcome splash of bubbles. You’ll have the possibility to order wine by the glass or bottles throughout the night, knowing that 20% of everything will go back to the community through the great initiatives that Vinequity organizes to support BIPOC people and minorities in the hospitality and wine industry.

Whether solo or with friends, join us on the Grape Witches patio for an evening of sipping, snacking, and celebrating inclusion!

With the purchase of the ticket, Vinequity members also will have the opportunity to attend a curated masterclass offered by Poderi Cellario discussing the traditions, terroir, and techniques that they use making natural wines in Piemonte, Italy. It will be led by @SippinGrapeJuice, part of the family. This educational moment will start at 5.30.
