Rules of Play

   Dominoes Used: Standard 6x6 double domino set (28 pieces)
   Shuffling: All players shuffle; opposing player cuts
   Draw 7 Bones (each player) or 6 bones for doubles teams
   Start: Highest double starts the game
   No Table Talk: -1 point for each infraction, 3 infractions, instant team elimination.
   Slamming Allowed & Encouraged: But no physical aggression or disrespect
   Referee On-Site: All disputes settled by referee or tournament organizer
   Disqualification: Poor sportsmanship, excessive delays, or rule violations.

How Scoring Works

   Winning a Game (Hand): The player or team that plays all their bones first wins the hand.
   The losing player/team must count the total number of pips (dots) left in their hand.That number is rounded down to the nearest 5 (e.g., 13 dots = 10 points).
   The winning team receives those points.
   First to 100 Points or 6 Games Wins the Match(Format chosen depending on table flow and time)

Six-Love Bonus

   If a player or team wins 6 straight games in a row without the opponent winning a single hand, it's considered a “Six-Love” or “Love Out.”
   This results in an automatic match win and +2 bonus points applied to bracket standings or tiebreakers.

We’re inviting local Caribbean vendors, artisans, chefs, and creators to be part of the vibes at Double 6ix Day Party — a high-energy dominoes tournament and day party celebrating Jamaican culture and Carnival weekend in Toronto.
