Current Issues in Gender Affirming Care

Tuesday, July 22 join us for a conversation with Aaden Pearson (they/them) and Frank Nasca (they/them) at 6pm at part of our Talkin’ Justice seminar series.

Aaden and Frank are openly trans lawyers who work in defending trans rights and advocacy, and who volunteer with The 519 Gender Affirming Care Legal Support Clinic.

They’ll talk about barriers impacting access to gender affirming care in Ontario and Canada, current trends in gender affirming healthcare OHIP denials, and navigating the Health Services Appeals and Review Board (HSARB).
