Hanlan’s QTBIPOC Beach Day is back and it’s bigger than ever!

Through the collaboration of 18 QTBIPOC partner groups, this will be a welcoming space for QTBIPOC folks to connect, unwind, and celebrate community.

We’re offering 300 FREE ferry rides — some distributed through our partners, and others available to the wider public (more info coming July 24).

There will be community-led music at the Mermaid Café. This is an experiment to explore how small-scale, non-commercial amplified sound can work OFF the beach. This is part of a sound policy shaped by hundreds of hours of community consultation.

This day is more than just a gathering, it’s about showing up for one another, taking up space, and creating community on our own terms.
