Dj Hermano is originally from Brazil and now lives in Montreal. He is the creator of intimas, a traveling queer party in Bogotá. As a selector and music collector, his passion for music has taken him across most of the continent, playing on the line-ups of major festivals, parties & clubs. His vast musical collection and passion focus on body music, but his mixing style cannot be reduced to a single genre. Still influenced by his Brazilian roots, he incorporates editions from the 80s and 90s, as well as contemporary electronic music. His party project offers both a visual and sonic experience, showcasing a diversity of electronic sounds in unconventional venues. The party was born out of a desire to create a dialogue within the queer community and encourage the exchange of experiences in safe spaces. The artist continually explores individual emancipation, self-expression, and authenticity.
