CABARET: The Dancing Djinn is a groundbreaking theatrical and musical cabaret created by Lebanese-Canadian drag artists Nikotine and Samara. The show revives the legacy and opulence of queer Arab history  and draws on Sufi poetry, Andalusian music, and modern rock with a bellydancing twist.

The show follows Nikotine, an Arabesque enchantress, haunted by the voice of a bellydancing genie trapped in her magic lamp - Samara, the legendary queen of a the legendary Queerabia!

This is a live singing show, hosted by Nikotine - singer and storyteller - alongside Samara, internationally-acclaimed drag bellydancer. The show is in English.

Playing to sold-out audience in Montreal's Cafe Cleo and Lion D'or, Toronto is in for a night of live theatre, ritual, and spectacle unlike anything else on stage.
