Hey Marikitas! together with @threedollarbill.parkdale we will be hosting a special afternoon free screening featuring La Misteriosa Mirada del Flamenco (The Mysterious Gaze of the Flamingo), directed by Diego Céspedes (2025). The film that has been making waves at the Cannes film festival is set in the Atacama desert in the north of Chile where a community of trans and queer performers live during the fascist dictatorship in Chile in the 1980s. The film will be screened in Spanish with English subs. For this screening we would like to prioritise folks from the QTBIPOC Communities.
