It is Middle America, the Mid twentieth century, and we are spotlighting middle class women. Women coming together as a community of sisters for the annual quiche breakfast of The Susan B Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein. After much talk of the quiches of past, present, and future, the sisters' breakfast is turned upside down by an explosive surprise. Yet, throughout it all, these women still find comfort and community through their shared love for the egg.
